also mechtiglich wuchs das wort des herrn vnd nam vbirhand,

Da gieng er hynauff vnd brach das brod vnd beys an, vnd redet viel mit yhn bis der tag anbrach, vnd also tzog er aus,

Wyr aber zogen voran auff dem schiff, vnd furen gen Asson, vnd wollten da selbs Paulum auffnemen, denn er hats alßo befolhen, vnd er wolt zu fusß gehen,

ich habs euch alles zeyget, das man also mit erbeyten musse die schwachen auffnehmen, vnd gedencken an das wortt des hern Jhesu, das er gesagt hat, Geben ist seliger denn nemen.

die andern aber ettlich auff den brettern, etlich auff dem, das vom schiff war, Vnnd also geschachs, das alle seelen erhalten zu land kamen.

da funden wyr brudere, vnd wurden von yhn gepeten, das wyr sieben tage da blieben, vnnd alßo kamen wyr gen Rom,

For the king knows of these things, to whom also I speak freely. For I am persuaded that none of these things is hidden from him, for this has not been done in a corner.

Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me this day, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.”

and said to them, “Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.”

Then they all cheered up, and they also took food.

Then when this was done, the rest also who had diseases in the island came, and were cured.

They also honored us with many honors, and when we sailed, they put on board the things that we needed.
